Our Why
Because Aotearoa needs more than fields and courts.
Skateparks are essential community infrastructure. Wheeled play is one of the world’s fastest-growing activities, yet it’s still overlooked in funding and planning. We’re here to change that — providing safe, all-weather spaces, advocating for fair investment, teaching life skills through skating, and creating inclusive places where everyone belongs..
East Skate Club isn’t just a skate club — it’s a movement, a community
Born out of a passion for skateboarding, rollerblading, scootering, BMX, and all things wheeled and wild, we’re a registered charitable trust on a mission to create real opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to experience the freedom, joy, and community that action sports bring.
